Kim jesteśmy?

Sekcja Mechaniki Konstrukcji i Materiałów Komitetu Inżynierii Lądowej i Wodnej Polskiej Akademii nauk zajmuje się modelowaniem materiałów i konstrukcji ze zwróceniem szczególnej uwagi na podstawy teoretyczne i modele obliczeniowe.

Członkami Sekcji są przedstawiciele ośrodków naukowych w Polsce, którzy zajmują się badaniami teoretycznymi, badaniami laboratoryjnymi, symulacjami komputerowymi w mechanice konstrukcji i materiałów oraz implementacją wyników badań w normach.

Sekcja dba o jakość kształcenia z zakresu mechaniki konstrukcji ze szczegółowym uwzględnieniem podstaw teoretycznych i doświadczalnych mechaniki materiałów i konstrukcji oraz metod komputerowych.
